Thanks alot jerkeejoe,! after seeing yours I just had to order an Oberland 01 with the standard length blade and the phantom finish.

Well, I finally decided on a new camp knife. I actually ordered a becker BK7, and then decided to pick up a new Trident Oberland 01 with a 6.5" blade. Here she is!! (Not rust on the handle screw, just the pic.) I'll post a review when I get a chance to put her to some good hard use.

I leave Friday to take a group of Scouts camping. It'll see some limited use there, and I'll post a review. However, I'm going on a week long Backpacking trip next month, and I expect to use it a lot there! I'll let everyone know.
