This is a new design for me that is unnamed at this time (feel free to submit ideas). Perfect as an EDC, with just a bit of heft to let you know it's substantial without being bulky. I made the first version with G10 scales and it sold right away, so I decided to make one with some nice redwood burl. I also slimmed the scales down a bit to give it versatility for both belt carry and pocket carry. I think it turned out well. In any event, for your consideration.
Steel: 1084, HT by me, quenched in Parks 50, tempered to 57HRC, high flat ground, distal taper, 3.45" long and 3/16" thick at the ricasso. Hand cut jimping gives adequate thumb purchase without being uncomfortable in an ungloved hand. Machine Finished (scotchbrite VF). Forge scale flats. Tapered tang.
Scales: Stabilized Redwood Burl, orange spacers. Brass pins and lanyard hole and west systems epoxy.
OAL:7.6"
Not Pictured: Your choice of leather (color your choice as well), or kydex sheath. Just give me a day or two to construct it prior to shipment
