New Use for Talon hole?

I posted this thread on the Bussecombat website. Thought I could get some more additional input here. For anyone with a satin or highly polished Busse, have you considered using the talon hole in an emergency as a sighting device for a makeshift signal mirror? Granted, the satin finish won't reflect as well as a dedicated signal mirror, but it will still cast some reflection. Has anyone thought of this or tried it out in the field? I would like to know if it will work at a distance.

If you spent some time and effort you could use the hole for rangefinding ...

i saw a thread elsewhere where sombody asked what all it could be used for. i wonder what prompted jerry to drill holes all over the knife for anyway? they look cool

Hmmmm....it just might work. With a high polish, it's quite possible. Plus, it would look really cool.
