I make a pick out of a windshield wiper insert which replaced the toothpick on my 58mm models, it's used to pick out splinters and pierce blisters.I got a booboo on my left wrist.
OK I burned myself somehow & it blistered up in less than an hour.
So out comes the awl 1 poke later squeeze out the pus & back normal.
Once again my gf, the quad and pretty Marine are thinking something's wrong with me.
Sounds like a great idea, but I'm having a hard time envisioning this.I make a pick out of a windshield wiper insert which replaced the toothpick on my 58mm models, it's used to pick out splinters and pierce blisters.
Basically I'm making an extra sharp approximation of the Victorinox toothpick using a piece of springy stainless steel salvaged from a discarded semi truck windshield wiper ( it's inside the rubber wiper and just pulls right out ).Sounds like a great idea, but I'm having a hard time envisioning this.
Could you possibly post a picture of it?
Thanks!

I've tried, but that's not pointy enough many times.I used to just use the point on the knife blade.![]()

It takes a little fitting and experimenting but it's not hard.Wow. Thanks.
That's really nice work you did. I'm hoping to scavenge an old wiper blade from my auto mechanic and give this a try!
