Well then, it has to be a Buck its just the law of nature.. If you buy anything other then a buck you'll be cursed for sure :D

Seriously, Buck Vantage line has some 'great' offerings for the money.. You can buy some of the 'vantage' line at walmart, or step up to the Vantage Pro line and S30V steel with a BOS heat treat............they can be found all over the net........

Benchmades are great, I love the axis lock, personally I'm not a big fan of the Noryl (Plastic) they use on the Griptillians, but many people really love it, My all time favorite Benchmade is the 940, the perfect EDC in my opinion, light, fast, good blade length, S30v steel, very trim, just about perfect. Not a Ultra hard use folder, but no folder really is, unless you pack some folder that weighs as much as a fixed blade, and then you might as well take a fixed blade, just my thoughts
