New Van Poppel folders

My good friend Gudy van Poppel made two new folding knives. Both are southern European influenced. The first has a blade of 15cm made out of Damascus (O2 and 17ni8) Titanium liners, firecracker bolsters and spring. Total length is 30 cm. The knife is housed in a wooden box made out of olive wood out of Spain. Narwel knife holder and walrus ivory feet.

The second one is a more traditional Catalan folder with an open length of 24 cm.
Damast made out of O2 and 75ni8. titanium liners, mammoth ivory scales, Damascus bolsters and end piece.

I have seen these knives in person last week and they are even better than the pictures. Great knives from a wonderful person.:thumbup:
