~$500.

“The silhouette of all the integrated single tools can be positioned to resemble the collaboration design motif, a fig leaf, alluding to the story of Adam and Eve and the concept of new beginnings. The design of the blades is representative of stones that have evolved into tools, and the rounded edges protrude to reflect this. Seven new shaping tools have been created, spanning six functions and one spring to house the directional tools with a unique look.”

Your thoughts?

I like the creativity but the price is a hard pass. I wish Victorinox would have a custom shop option.

Hard Pass. That ... "thing" ... does not appear very pocket friendly. The contours of the blade and tool spines look like they would be quite uncomfortable (hot spots galore) if one were to actually use it. Thanks, but no thanks.
Surprising it passed all the steps Victorinox has in place before something goes into production.

The success Victorinox has experienced has lead to the designers doing blow off of hookers and coming up with stuff like this.

Can we just get a Cadet X instead?
A few years ago my neighbors kid wanted a hoverboard for Christmas but his grandfather bought him a generic light up wheel push scooter from the flea market instead. ( it literally just said SCOOTER on the grip tape )
This is that scooter.

Okay. So it isn’t just me. 😆

When I first saw the knife I tried to figure it out before I went looking for an explanation. For an instant, I honestly thought the main blade was supposed to be the outline of the state of Kentucky and thought the saw was some kind of Wisconsin Indian Head. I was thinking country or state borders.

I then thought, No, it’s a SAK. those have to be mountains like the Matterhorn or other Swiss mountains.

Turns out, Nope. They’re just arbitrary shapes that you have to position a certain way to see a fig leaf. If they hadn’t explained it, I’d still be scratching my head. It’s like having to explain why a joke is funny.

Collector- “Check this out. If I put the blades of this knife in this position it makes the shape of a fig leaf”

Anyone listening - “Yeah. So what.”

Collector - “Well, you see the fig leaf represents…

Anyone listening - 🤔 I need to stop on the way home to pick up some laundry detergent…
