NOW SOLD

EDIT: NOW A DEMONSTRATION VIDEO OF THE KNIFE EDGE GEOMETRY - BELOW IN THE COMMENTS SECTION

Hey guys!

For this one i wanted to make something really special so i decided to mix both a sabatier blade profile and my raptor design. Im pretty much happy to its result.

It has 9" of blade length out of Sandvik 14c28n swedish steel, which is an improved version of AEBL, but with more corrosion resistance, hardened to 62hrc, it is one of the toughest stainless steel out there. Extremely fine grain guaranteed.

Has my favorite hammered finish on it, creating an interesting chatoyant surface that will also help food release. Max thickness of the blade is 3/32

This knife is a really good pick for an all-around daily chef knife

Agressive grind, flawless weight and balance, good finish, good steel and handle material.

Both choil and spine are rounded and polished for your absolute comfort

Its grind is superb, basically zero grind with a very, VERY thin edge that will be both easy to sharpen and perform as a laser slicing food.

As all my blades, the knife is shaped water cooled so the heat from the process dont ruin the heat treatment/cause any warp. This ensures consistent hardness over all the edge length.

The handle is pure poetry, have a tappered tang out of true A+ grade kingwood (same density and hardness as arizona desert ironwood) and g10 liners.

I ground the taper of the tang carefully so it would match the thickness of the white liner, giving it a very aesthetically pleasing look.

Its weight balance is perfectly set where you want, right in the pinch grip area in order to give you absolute control on the knife.

370$ shipped with that beautiful red zipped pouch

Delivered hand sharpened to 2000 - more than enough for a really high performance daily knife

It is a beautiful and extremely functional pairing knife out of 62hrc 14c28n stainless steel. It features a near zero grind that will perform on food like a laser. Easy and fast to handle, flawless finish and execution. The handle is done out of A+ grade kingwood and g10 liners. Really really nice pick for extra 80. Sure thing to become one of your favorites and probably will be one of the most used knives in your kitchen.

Im from Brazil and i dont take paypal - got tons of references both in and outside the forum. I offer full support for anything needed. Please feel free to contact me so we can figure out the best way for you owning this knife

That one is gorgeous. I really like the G-10 liners and the tapered tang. I know you work to balance the blades and handles, but the tapered tang is a super cool way to lighten the handle.

This video i wanted to show how subtly more important is edge geometry than the sharpening grit itself.

The video below you will see the knife performing on an average 1200 grit edge, which can be easily and quickly done by anyone in the knife community. You dont need the extra fancy sharpening tools like 2000~3000 and beyond grits to make it perform really good, most of the time you only need a good grind.

Hope you guys enjoy it.

Just to let you know, this is what everyone sees:

The more I see the more I love 😍 this blade and the black & white liners, hammered/sleek blade, tapered tang, A+ Kingwood...🥹😲

Wow its like a laser! Very impressive Fransico, love the as forged profile on the blade too. Someone is going to get themselves a lovely knife here.
