phuuuu... finally finished my second sword; some kind of Viking sword as was the first one.

This one I have named Heimdall, who were a Asa-God and was the guy who signaled when Ragnarök (armageddon) began.

The engravings on the mammoth is done by Rickard Perman.

Enjoy!

Wow! I can't even fathom the work that must have gone into that sword. And to think that near the end of finishing it the slightest mistake could ruin all that work just makes my mind numb. Sheesh, just getting that fuller to be symmetrical and even would take so much skill. Congratulations on such a magnificent piece.

WOW WOW WOW or WOW^3

Edit - just looked at your website and im in complete awe!!!

That is amazing. The basket weave pattern with perspective is very unique.

Why is the enlarged view in your picture washed out? i would like to see all that detail.

The pattern welding and engraving are excellent as is the leatherwork. Fantastic job! If I can ask what are the dimensions of the piece? I took a peek at your site as well, and it looks like you've just made a couple of forays into sword making, something I hope you continue. Do you have any thoughts of attempting some pieces in the area of swords that are more historically accurate or are you pretty much driven by customer demands or... ???
