Hi Experts! :D

Discovered a source for obviously VERY old Klaas, Solingen, (Kissing Cranes) pocket knives!
I was told they all have carbonsteel blades!
They have wooden scales, except of the lockback folder that has bone or imitate bone scales.
6 of them have the Klaas and Kissing Cranes on their blades the Sheepfoot folder with the awl doesn`t have any mark.
How can I make sure that they are really old knives (in fact they are in unused and almost new conditions! ) and when they were produced?
Bought 1 of each version already.
They are all slipjoints, except of the "bone"handled one which is a backlock!
Just have a look, please!

I don't suppose you care to share that with us, do you?

No, I don`t!;) :D

Recently I bought the last available Brückmann knives (made before WW2) in new conditions and now I was asked if I`d be interested in those Klaas knives.
They are really old but I want to know exactly when they were produced.

When the guy can give me these informations and the price is right, I`ll offer some of them for sale. (Have to upgrade to Gold membership first ;) and don`t know if I can pay via paypal!? :D )
Will let you know asap!

Happy Easter !:D

Got the answer from Robert Klaas Company today!:)
The knives were produced in the 1950`s and have carbonsteel blades.
The backlock folder has coloured bone scales.
The Harness Jack (without any blade marks) was definitely made by Robert Klaas Company by order of another, not named brand! :D

Will receive them by end of next week and offer some of them for sale!;) :D

I finally got them last week and I`m pleased they are in really good condition!:D Imagine they are 50 years old, half a century!;)
In case you have any questions about them just ask.
(Try to get my membership upgraded but unfortunately there`s NO possibility to pay via paypal yet!)
Will offer some of them for sale when I got the membership upgrade done! :D

@Sword and Shield
The dimensions of the Sodbuster are: Length closed ~ 115 mm approx. 4.5"
Length opened ~ 207 mm approx. 8.1" , Blade length ~ 94 mm approx. 3.7"
Thanks a lot for asking. :) Hope that`s what you wanted to know!? ;)

Wish I had a dime for every 'mint old knife' found in German knife factories. I thought Jim Parker had already found all of them.
