New WC Sebenza 25 Finally

It's like CRK stopped trying. I see no reason to spend the extra money, let alone the handle with someone else's logo.
 
This is killing me.

The starburst pattern is what made the WC version so desirable. It truly is dissapointing that they have gone downhill. Basically charging extra money just to have what is essentially a bumper sticker ad on your 25 with no added benefit.

I can't imagine this design will be popular amongst us, but I'm sure loyal WC fans still buy it.

I think they dropped the ball on this and it's a sincere let down.

It's not like CRK quit trying.
WC ordered the knife this way, and wanted their name on the handle.

I don't think you understood what I was saying.

I don't really care for it myself, but it wasn't CRK's idea to put the name on the side.
WC is the one who wanted their name on the side.

Not that WC really quit trying. They just wanted their name showing well. I don't care for it, and don't think many here will. The Starburst looks much better IMO.
 
I like their WC logo pocket clips.
Would have liked the starburst pattern for sure.
 
Gotta have the starburst pattern to be a WC CRK. Not worth the extra $$ just to have their name and logo on it. Unless your a HUGE WC fan, a plain is just as nice.
 
I liked the starburst so much that I ordered one from Wilson. After a couple of months of not hearing from them I bought a scotch-brited user on the Exchange. About a month later the one I ordered from Wilson showed up and I couldn't put it down; I doubt I'll ever sell either.

This version is a total disappointment, hopefully a starburst option will show up also.
 
In may very well be that this was the knife mag1 wanted so he bought it. He liked it. His money. His choice.
There are knives for every taste. Exactly the way things should be.

I agree. I think Wilson Combat makes quality weapons gear. However, the lure of the Starbenza was just that. The 25 version has zero appeal to a non WC fan.
 
It's not unusual for designers to change their designs to keep them appealing. I happens all the time..especially if you pay attention to the lines that coincide with the WC lineup.

Wilson Combat is the customer to CRK in this case. THEY approved the design; They own it.

Good, bad or ugly- the market bears what it will. If the numbers do not make sense,..Economics dictates that it changes in one form or another.
 
I got the email from WC and was sadly disappointed when I saw the 25. Who would want Wilson Combat across the back of their knife.

I'm going to send them an email and let them no I don't care for it and hope they bring one out with their signature starburst pattern.
 
It will probably be a must have for devoted WC customers. The price isn't much higher than a standard 25, and when you spend $2,000-$4,000 for a 1911, it's probably not going to be a big deal...
 
I also wish it had the starburst pattern.
Since I am a WC 1911 fan, I ordered one.
