New Web Specials - Magnacut, also S45VN, etc !

Buck would be doing me a favor if they would offer the standard Phenolic/420HC 119 in the grind that they put on the 3V and MagnaCut versions. My 3V 119 is probably the only 119 with which I haven't put a stab hole into one of my hands or fingers. I'm neither a Hunter nor a Butcher, so the pronounced clip on the 119 always winds-up "biting" me at some point. (*I would LOVE a chance at another 3V 119 from them, but I don't see that happening)

*I did score me another GCK, as I just couldn't resist. If they stay up on the site long enough, I may consider scoring me a Kalinga.

And I haven't been able to get BCCI pricing to activate on the website for days now.
BCCI pricing didn't work for me either.
I noticed this earlier this week also. Not sure why full price is showing when displaying multiple knives, but the discounted price is there if you click on the page for an individual knife model. Buck really needs to have someone fix their web page that was "revamped" earlier this year.

I see what you're saying now. The 110 slim select drop point shows the diamond indent pattern on only part of the handle and the 110 slim select flat grind is the opposite, an outdent diamond pattern on the whole handle, like the LT. Also, the flat grind second photo doesn't show the opposite side of the knife, but the same side as the first photo. So, you have to guess.
They changed the website and one in now labeled a 110 LT! Yeah! We guessed right.

I seem to recall that there's always somebody who misses out on the 110 LTs when they show up as a web exclusive. I hope there's enough to go around this time. Maybe we'll get some colorful 112 LTs at some point.

That cherry 102 is sweet. I have two 102s in green micarta and palm wood. I guess I’d have a collection with this one, but I’m on the fence.
I'm also on the fence about the 102. There's a red micarta version in the same steel in a similar price range floating around that I've been able to resist so far. I really like my phenolic standard 100 series knives. The cherry looks so good though...

Those Web Specials could not have been more perfect! A couple of my daughters asked for a couple Buck 102's in Cocobolo and Aluminum for Christmas. I've been watching the Buck Knives Inc. Buck Knives Inc. website for a while and they have been out of stock. I really wanted to buy there so I could get them engraved, but time was running out so just a couple of days ago I started asking if anyone had a couple that they would let go of. Boom - Buck posts up 102's in Cherrywood and Aluminum! My daughters weren't fixated on the Cocobolo - just the color, so the Cherrywood is perfect. We'll all just have to accept the S30V - beggars can't be choosers, so that's my penalty for waiting too long in the year to plan for Christmas. :)

Oh, and I may have added something else to the order for myself.

I really like red knives, so I almost got one of those 102s just because the color is sweet. But I'm trying not to buy knives that I don't collect, so I resisted the temptation. But those 102s are sweet.

It's easy to get distracted.
I can relate.

I wonder if I lived close to a decent knife store where I could actually see and handle a knife before I bought it;
Would I buy more or fewer knives.....?
🤔
If only I knew.
