And I haven't been able to get BCCI pricing to activate on the website for days now.
I noticed this earlier this week also. Not sure why full price is showing when displaying multiple knives, but the discounted price is there if you click on the page for an individual knife model. Buck really needs to have someone fix their web page that was "revamped" earlier this year.BCCI pricing didn't work for me either.
That cherry 102 is sweet. I have two 102s in green micarta and palm wood. I guess I’d have a collection with this one, but I’m on the fence.Been wanting to pick up a large Vantage, but I'm not a big fan of serrated blades. That cherry wood 102 is calling to me.
production wise in 420hc.....but custom shop offers that option in s30v only I think.is a buck 119 without the fuller a rare bird?
what about this one....Been wanting to pick up a large Vantage, but I'm not a big fan of serrated blades. That cherry wood 102 is calling to me.
They changed the website and one in now labeled a 110 LT! Yeah! We guessed right.I see what you're saying now. The 110 slim select drop point shows the diamond indent pattern on only part of the handle and the 110 slim select flat grind is the opposite, an outdent diamond pattern on the whole handle, like the LT. Also, the flat grind second photo doesn't show the opposite side of the knife, but the same side as the first photo. So, you have to guess.
I'm also on the fence about the 102. There's a red micarta version in the same steel in a similar price range floating around that I've been able to resist so far. I really like my phenolic standard 100 series knives. The cherry looks so good though...That cherry 102 is sweet. I have two 102s in green micarta and palm wood. I guess I’d have a collection with this one, but I’m on the fence.
Meh. You can order them in the custom shop.... the web specials knive are usually pretty nice though... I like both 119s and the 102..is a buck 119 without the fuller a rare bird?
it was sold out yesterday too......590 Magnacut is now showing sold out
BOTM December!Of COURSE a GCK. And in 5160 of all things.
Good price but I'm a little tapped out for the holidays. They drop the GCK every so often, and I don't NEED it...
Now, a 124 in 5160? I'd take that hit.
I really like red knives, so I almost got one of those 102s just because the color is sweet. But I'm trying not to buy knives that I don't collect, so I resisted the temptation. But those 102s are sweet. Those Web Specials could not have been more perfect! A couple of my daughters asked for a couple Buck 102's in Cocobolo and Aluminum for Christmas. I've been watching theBuck Knives Inc. website for a while and they have been out of stock. I really wanted to buy there so I could get them engraved, but time was running out so just a couple of days ago I started asking if anyone had a couple that they would let go of. Boom - Buck posts up 102's in Cherrywood and Aluminum! My daughters weren't fixated on the Cocobolo - just the color, so the Cherrywood is perfect. We'll all just have to accept the S30V - beggars can't be choosers, so that's my penalty for waiting too long in the year to plan for Christmas.
Oh, and I may have added something else to the order for myself.
It's easy to get distracted.I really like red knives, so I almost got one of those 102s just because the color is sweet. But I'm trying not to buy knives that I don't collect, so I resisted the temptation. But those 102s are sweet.
