I really like the site. Even at three pages, it gets the info across well and that's what you want. I personally would like to build one, but I am a bit behind the curve on the tech end of things. I think you did a great job.
Okay, I haven't read all the replies, so I hope I don't get too redundant. But I have to say, I don't believe you made all those beautiful knives - your shop is way too clean! Even your freakin tools are clean. I'm really jealous of that KMG, you set it up just right.
Your site is excellent - very clean and easy to navigate. You did a much better job of presenting the backlog and current projects issue than I did, and I'm thinking about paraphrasing you if I may. I've always liked your work and your website is a perfect extension of that - clean and crisp. Great job! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the compliments, Dave, Tad and everyone else! I find that I'm in a better mood in my shop if the shop is clean and somewhat organized. It helps that I'm only an occasional/part time maker and don't produce in much volume. But believe me, there have been times that the shop was a wreck; I just go on occasional cleaning sprees. Oh, and Dave, feel free to paraphrase me however you'd like. I don't mind a bit.
Clean shops produce clean work. There's the occasional wreck of a shop that produces super clean work, but it's rare. However, it's rare to see sloppy, poor work coming from a clean shop. That's my take
