New Website......

Oh, I agree that the content is king. And yes, it's good that you included the bottom nav.

I still don't like frames though... different designers, different preferences. FYI I don't like entrance pages either though, just another wasted click IMHO. No big deal.

Oh yeah, I found both in 2 clicks on another site. Of course, I know where to look for them... :D and though I'm fond of that site, I am cognizant of it's own design flaws as well.

There's no such thing as a perfect site. If you strive to keep everything within a 600x300 screen (for 640x480 users) you waste tons of space for those who have 18" monitors. Your designs are probably among the best I've seen in the industry, I just don't like frames.

Exactly my thoughts

I didn't want to start this controversy with my comments, as you site IS one of the best I seen on the industry for real.

I will get my numbers and email those to you Alex ( can't post those kind of research on a public access site)

Just for the record, I didn't say you site is not usable -it IS VERY usable), just making some comments on it, that's all.

Either way, frames or no frames, I think it's still nicely done.
The fact that I see the newer stuff (like the Max and the Bk 7&9) on there just makes me a lot happer with the site. The site's elegance (in terms of frames or no frames) is secondary.

Yes, I heard that! I only wish the perfect site existed, and I was the person who could find it first. :)

I do know this. Camillus Cutlery is a top notch organization. I'm more impressed by them than they'll ever be with AtlantaVirtual.com. From where I come from, anyone who was involved with aspects of winning WW1 is a player, in my book! That's a first in our business, actually. The only thing we've done that's reasonably close to that is work on a corporate site for a company that has diapered over 1 billion baby's butts. Somehow, that don't do it for me ... but I can claim that I've been paid for work that got seriously crapped on. :)

BTW. I'm hiring another designer in the Atlanta Area right now, so if anyone lives here and is willing to listen to direction ... and has skills :) , please contact us.

Thanks again guys!

Alex

As computer illiterate as I am, the only "gripe" with the site is that the pictures should have the link as well as the text.

Other than that, great job!!!
