I posted this on the custom knife forum but thought I should post it over here also.

My new website is up and running. There are still a few little things that need tweeked but all in all it is done. Needless to say I'm very happy with what Mitch has done with this.

Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Hi,

Nice clean website , easy to navigate. I build them and tweak them for people when the developers get over ambitious. One question though. I'm assuming that you want to sell your work yet I see no prices anywhere. I understand the concept of not wanting to turn off a potential customer by listing a high price for you work. Honestly though I think it will have more people just taking a fast glance at the site then moving on. You only have a couple of seconds to attract and keep their attention then they are gone. If they don't get the information they are looking for they are history. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the replies,

Ken, I didn't want to put the prices for the knives on the gallery. They are older pieces which have been sold. With material prices fluctuating so much (usually upward) the price may only be accurate for a short time. I felt this would just be a constant updating problem.

Hi, Jon. I really like the job Mitch has done with your site. It's understated, uncluttered, easy to read and navigate, and aside from a couple of very minor spelling and punctuation errors it is an excellent read.

Jon,

Really nice site love the shop tour you might want to add a menu bar item on the left that points to the page with how to order I found the info but indirectly and thanks again for all the info you shared at the Visalia hammer-in.

Many thanks guys,

fitzo- would you mind e-mailing me with the grammer errors. I'd like to fix it if I know they are there.

Sweeny- the horse shoe works really well.

Hi Jon
The website looks great! It's nice to have a shop tour like that. How's that heater working for you?
See Ya

Thanks Mike!

Alden, still using the heater, it works great.
You can see it in the 1st pic at the entrance of the studio.

Really nice website, nice shop tour & very, very nice knives you have there!

But...there is still something what I'd like to complain about...

Pictures!

You'll probably say : What about pictures??

Pictures are waaaay too small! If I click on some picture on your site, I expect to see a full size picture, not some "mobile phone" sized ones.

There is nothing you should be ashamed of and you don't have nothing to hide (by means of using small pictures).

Your work is great, your knives are great, and I'd like to see everything in a well deserved picture size, which is....all over my computer screen!! IMHO!

Greetings from Croatia, keep going!
