Came across this while looking for something else, it looks like the new wet. 1.25lbs head 24 inch handle.

That looks really nice! I hope they come out with some new axes soon. Everyone on the planet is out of stock!
 
Sure looks like the carpenter head on the 24" handle hat the CEO was announcing in that interview.
Looks good- did you buy it, or is this a catalog pic?
 
After watching the interview Joe Flowers did with the Rep from Wetterlings, this Axe is a must have! I am looking forward to getting one. OP that is a great pic!

No I didn't get it I'm just sharing a picture off of a website. I got it from google Wetterlings Woodmans axe and it will pop up. I don't want to gloss the company so that's why the google thing.
Not sure what to think of it yet and don't exactly trust the specs so far.

Thanks for posting, I've been waiting for these to drop, and of course it's right after I bought a Council Tool Hudson Bay. It's the less expensive non-Velvicut one, but I don't even have it yet and certainly don't need another in the same size until I get this one tested.
