hey guys,
Thought you all would like to know about a survival school that is starting up here in South Africa.
It is being run by a couple of very experienced and knowledgeable dudes, one of whom is an ex-Recce, our equivalent of Special Forces.
The other guy is an outdoorsman (botanist by qualification), and has extensive knowledge of our local plant life.
They're setting up base in a beautiful part of the world, next to one of our world heritage sites, Lake St Lucia.
The courses comprise Basic, Intermediate (5 days apiece) and Advanced (7 days).
The cost for the course is $500 for the Basic or Intermediate and around $700 for the Advanced. That includes everything - meals, the works.
An interesting sidenote is that the two dudes met on the latest series of Survivor South Africa and hit it off, and are now going into business together.
The ex-Recce bloke made Survivor history by being the first guy ever on Survivor to make fire using the old bow and drill method, so he knows his sh*t.
If you're thinking about seeing this part of the world, I can't think of a more interesting way to do it./ If you have any questions, shoot me a mail.
