New Wilkins Grips

Have you guys seen the new Ti WilkinsGrips? What do you think of the logo, and the jimping? I feel like the jimping is unnecessary and breaks up the lines of the scales, and also don't like the logo, it's awkwardly placed and also breaks up the clean lines of the scales...

The logo is small and tasteful I think. The jimping must have been a functional addition, although I don't think it takes anything away from them. I like them.

I think having his logo on the side of a knife he had no hand in designing is corny and I would not buy a set. He is making an aftermarket product for a specific brand, with which he is not affiliated. The scales are ok but encorporating his brand mark is hubris.

I prefer a sterile handle without a maker's mark. Same with blades when possible.

That said, I've got a couple pairs of Kevin's Ti Mini Grips and he makes a great product.

Yeah, I have a set of Kevin's Ti Grips - love them! But love them better without the logo...feels out of place.

I agree, won't be replacing my old ones anytime soon though.

If I didn't already have mine, I would still order the new ones.
