It came just now and it's even collector numbered.
Wow, it's thick and heavy, a very pretty piece of steel. I like it!

good deal i have the middle size, needs a lanyard,i might use mine it getting a lot of fondling...........

Come on!!! I have perused them quite a bit on the internet and wondered how they would perform in a wilderness setting. Put it through its paces are report back. If you say is it great, I will get one too.

I am really curious about that steel. Anyone know anything about it?

I just realized this is numbered as a variant, what would the standard woodlander be that this was marked a variant?

I believe the Forester was the base model, with the Woodlander, Forager and Dayhiker being Variants. My Dayhiker is CC numbered with a V suffix.

I have one of those (though not a numbered one), and its just a wonderful hunk of steel. Very sharp with its convex edge. On youtube there is a video of a guy dismantling a shed with one of these babies.

Collector numbered I'm gonna have to hang onto it NIB.

Well, if you ever had to use it, I'm sure it could do some serious chopping.
And these come in two sizes bigger. The Forager and Forester. Great knives.:)
Your pics are tempting.:D
