New woods blade....

Hey Jake! It turned out well! Please, report back after you used it some

Thanks man!!

I will. I plan on doing some differant tasks with this one and doing a bit of a write up. This is gonna be my goto blade for quite some time. Too much stuff goin on this year that is gonna dip into my blade money. :o

I like everything about that knife except for one thing ... I don't have one. Really, really nice knife.

Excellent looking knife, Jake.

I was surprised, though, when compared to the RC-3. It was much bigger than I expected.

The belly on that blade is similar to the belly on the 5" blade I had G.L. Drew make me. Very useful.

That little blade came out excellent.

Jake,

Man, that thing sucks. Feel free to send it to me for disposal. I'll even pay the postage for you. :)

Sweet design my friend! Looks great!

Yeah, I wanted a slightly scaled up RC3, sans choil, and with a bit more belly.

Kinda looks the size, while not being the size, if that makes sense. I always like it when people post comparison shots next to a similar knife. Makes it easy to get an idea of what your looking at.

Got a pic? Id be interested in seeing that one. GL Drew is an excellant maker.

I got your FAK email, Im gonna email ya back this evening when I have some time to give ya a good awnser. :)

Jake I noticed you went with the top lanyard hole. Do you prefer the top more then a bottom one? Just curious why you prefer one to the other. That would be a good question to put out there for others to answer. I use to do top holes, then switched to bottom only.

Very nice work. Subdued amd subtle yet really does say "user" in its characteristics.

I think you captured allot of the attributes of a great user friendly blade without any hype or un-necessary fluff.

Great job to all involved.

Yeah, I like the top one. Most knives are on the bottom....I dont suppose it makes much differance, but I can always utilize the lanyard more comfortably like that. Im interested to hear what others prefer as well....

A knife this size, I typically dont use a lanyard on, but its nice to have it as an option if I want.....

Hey Jake how's this beauty working out for ya ? Do ya have any more recent pics ?
