Hi Uncle Bill, recievied my first Khukuri on Monday a WWII 16.5". WoW! My lady ordered it for my birthday/Chinese new year's present,could not wait!! Fit's perfect working on the wood handle,spit shine with linseed oil. Wish I had this when I was "In Country " .Better than the Case Bowie,Machete or the Okinawan Parang I had,chop's like all get out.Get ready for another order!!:D :D :D
 
....And this is how HIKV first manifests, and then within 1-3 weeks the one thus afflicted begins buying khukuris in trios, then half-dozens, then dozens at a time, with exponentially worsening symptoms, including financial delusions. Classic case. ;)
 
All Khukuris carry HIKV, and diferent styles infect different people at different rates. The WWII is one of the most virulent, so forget it - you're hooked. Besides, being broke is only fun when you can enjoy Khukuris while eating beans.

Congrats on the new blade! Don't be a stranger around here---buying a khukuri is fun, but this place is the best part of owning them:)

Soooo many to chose from one from colume A two from B. Be able to slice off those spicy pig's ear's with one stroke :eek: the hard one's beheading the jellyfish Yum!!:D
 
Well let's see Chop Suey, Chop Shop[ Caddy's camrey's, Toy's ,Jeep's nimble creature!] and whatever poke's it's head in:) a few of our slower flying Rat's and the more adventurous Tree rat's He He;) I'll have to plant some extra tomatoes just to practice sliceing them in the air!Oh the joy's of gardening.:D
 
My first khuk was a wooden handled 16.5" WWII. I bought it three years ago (Jan 25, 1999 :)) and it is still my favorite.

because it is "Ignore Rule One". Do not sign anything for this man!!! He is the encycle..ensyc..used car salesman of Khukuris. He enlists donated Khuks from new members (the old ones are on to him) for his "research" lab in Fla. The only research is ours - trying to figure out where all the khuks have gone. His greed for spring steel has even forced JP to hide his knives on top of great stone tepee in San Francisco.:rolleyes:

the M43 are about the only trustworthy words he has printed here - including the one about hogging all of them. "Bribe" him? I've had to put a camera on my M43 ever since I got it..and an alarm. As for "pure"...well, he is. Pure what will remain for someone else to post. I don't wanna get banned :rolleyes:
