Likely your pivot screw backed out a touch...gently retighten, if that doesn't bring her to true there are other methods.

Finally got my spanner bit and you were right; with a tiny adjustment it came back to center. Thanks to all for the help.

Glad it worked out. When I got my first one I panicked over little things, till I relaxed and accepted that it was just a knife (well, maybe more than JUST), and that there was a whole herd of Hinderer's here to help with every adjustment. I literally would not have been able to change my scales without Need2Knows help, and he has always been generous with his knowledge. That is what makes this forum special.
