New XM-24

An amazing knife. Flips open like its got IKBS and rock solid like a fixed blade. Just incredible!

I'm a fan of the 24, the Slicer grind, the flipper and the orange G10....it's a very nice knife.

Congrats man, you got the Slicer! Awesome.

Exactly what I was thinking when I looked at the pics, "He got the slicer, cool!"

Here's mine. It came with that puke brown scale, but a certain tool arrived today and I already have sxtra scales.....

Nice Wolfe! I personally prefer the look of the slicer over the Spanto. Glad the tool arrived safely!

Looks good! I recently got my xm-24 in as well, what a tank! I noticed you mentioned it's so smooth it's like it's got IKBS. Mine is not even close to that smooth... Do these require a bit of a break-in period?

IMO, not so much, what they do require is a properly adjusted pivot and clean/lubricated washers (and the surfaces they ride on).

Take the time to adjust the pivot screw and use a little blue loctite. The tiniest fraction of a screw turn makes a difference and once you find that sweet spot you don't want it to change!!!!

A lot of different things "work".

But I still say add an official Hinderer tool to your knife maintenance kit.

I don't think I'd trust some of what's in that pic upside one of my Hinderers! :p
