New Year GAW

Received my Camillus Electrician's Knife and WOW it's like new and awesome! It has Sammy Swindell's signature on the handle and Channellock Racing on the main blade. Thank you so much Dave! I will always treasure this knife and remember your generosity. It is almost too nice to use. I feel like it should somehow be on display. Here are some quick pictures of the knife.

Congrats again, incision; fantastic knife and great photos!
Kudos for running this great GAW, JustDave!

That is a beauty for sure. Congratulations Incision and thanks for your generosity Dave

Went to school with Sammy's little brother, Jeff Swindell, another sprint car racer. Think they'd get a kick out of you getting a kick out of the knife.

Cool knife.

That's neat Leghog. Swindell has been a household name in dirt track racing probably since the mid 70's. I believe I still hear that name winning races. I wonder what years this knife was produced? I would love to know more about it.

Great GAW! Sammy Swindell's name brings back memories. My Dad ran T.Q's, full midgets and sprint cars in the 70's......Good times!

Leghog, thanks for the links and the knife info. Sammy sounds like a very interesting guy and he's still racing! When my kids were young we loved watching the sprint car races. Never thought about the cars being direct drive. I was trying to remember the most famous sprint car racer, I could see his face but
couldn't remember his name, Steve Kinser.(Thanks again for the links)
Clutchcarter, must have been awesome having a racing dad!

Jeff Swindell on far left. Sammy Swindell next. Steve Kinser next in center. This pic has to be from the late 70s/early 80s.
