I'm still squabbling with the Brazilian Embassy over visas...they don't seem to understand that we have no street adress and no utility bills to prove residency Hopefully it all gets ironed out before the 26th of Jan!

Haley, that is unfortunately what happens when one of our major trading partners in the Western Hemisphere decides to treat Us citizens like we treat their folks when it comes to immigration matters as opposed to just waiving any all all visa requirements. Just be glad that you are not a Brazilian with no street address trying to visit the US. Tell them that the CIA sends you your electricity from their super secret microwave death ray satellite down to your DirecTV dish.

Indeed I think you're right...their webpage states in no uncertain terms that they are mirroring the US policy towards brazilian travelers down to the 'nth degree...alas all these politicswe just wanna make knives...hmmm DEATHray
