New Year's Resolution- Surviving in Style

Mine is to prepare for surviving - IN STYLE! I'm thinking matching camo when appropriate, with Scent Control in the event I bump into some other lost soul in the bush (wouldn't want to offend). Maybe a wool Fedora, worn a little rakish so if rescued I wouldn't look as if in peril, just a little "inconvenienced" on my way out. A pilot's scarf instead of the regular bandana would be a nice touch, as well as trendy footwear.

A matched set of cutlery, of course, from the same maker is mandatory. Mirror finish with handle inlays would do, so long as the blades are in the latest alloy. What do you suggest? Custom sheath to compliment the belt and footwear, or is that going a bit too far?

Rations would be freeze dried canopes, individually wrapped cheeses, and those little gourmet crackers. Some powdered lemon flavoring for foraged water would be welcome.

What's your New Year's Resolution for being prepared?:D:D:D Happy New Year. :)Best Regards to All, ss.

Well if its surviving in style I need to buy myself an Akubra hat to go with my dry-as-a-bone :)

Tilley hats rule :D

For light weight trail wear, you'll find me on the mud runway in a Montane Areo windshirt, Patagonia Micropuff vest, REI hiking pants, Patagonia Capeline base layers, a Tilley T5 hat, Mountain Hardwear gloves, and Montrail Namche boots. Rain gear is Marmot Precip or a silnylon poncho. Make fun of me and I'll whack you with my Black Diamond trekking poles
