I was just wondering as to the current status of mailing BF exchange knives to NYC? I know there has been legal issues in the past, and don't like the idea of having to eliminate sales and trades to fellow NYC resident members, but I also don't want any liability against me as seller. Thoughts?

The problem in mailing knives to NYC is not for individual sellers, it was for major dealers (deep pockets) that the dirty DA blackmailed into fat fines and promises to stay out of business in the City.
The Postal Service has no stake in this and does not work with the DA. The only problem comes in when the DA's office makes a straw purchase to entrap a dealer.
