Hi friends,

I had a VERY busy weekend of 11/20-11/22 2009. This show has been held at the premier Crowne Plaza Hotel just off Times Square. (www.nyckshow.com)

I have done this Fall show for the past three years, and Steve D'Lack and his crew have always treated show attendees well. I am thankful to have this opportunity.

It's always fun to show you knives that were part of this show. I also brought in a few knives from my studio work that had to get finished there. That said, for me, they were also part of the show.

I had mentioned on a previous post that the knives were 'Exciting!' I think you will agree.

Here's a few display pieces, but the link at the bottom will deliver you to my Fototime online album to see the entire set of 40 images. :)

Thanks for looking,

Coop

Great stuff! Im particularly impressed with the ladder pattern Cliff Parker made, which is used in the RJ martin flipper.

THANKS Coop! some incredible images of incredible knives.

Those are some of the nicest i've seen from Mace Vitale.

Great job, Coop! I like the new backgrounds you're using and, as always, the images are outstanding.

Some wonderful knives - but that Burt Foster laminate is simply on of THE nicest knives I have seen ..... I want it so bad it hurts!:eek::eek:

Cheers

Stephen

A very interest and beautiful outlay of knives.

That Lake is pretty unique and valuable to the stratosphere I imagine with the Barry Lee Hands engraving.

What is the handle material on the Johnson set? Micarta? G-10? Not bakelite is it?

Really interesting Loveless image.

Like the damascus patterns on the Zoe Crist set, reminds me of a pattern that Jerry Fisk does.

That Lake IS special. Coming soon to a legendary dealer near you...

Johnson handles = Yellow G-10

The Loveless is from Art Green's personal collection (President NCCA). It's a rare bird and so well made for it's time. He wanted to show it in his newsletter.

First time I met Zoe. His own images are pretty good, too. He was showing me some other capable 3-piece knives to shoot but then I spotted THIS set. He mentioned his mentor is Don Fogg (Isn't he EVERYONE'S mentor???!!!!) He must have spent some time with him learning.

Thank you.

Coop

I think Ron Best has figured out the folder routine. Amazing knives. Guess I'll have to be on the lookout for one of those.

On the Kit Carson you list "engraver"... not scrim?

I keep looking at that Lake. While not really the style I'm attracted to, that things beautiful. How is that pattern done on the blade? Is it just engraved in a different style then i'm used too?

I like Mace's frame handle fighter there, that's a great looking knife.
And your photos, Jim, are excellent and very much appreciated!

I most sincerely thank you for sharing that photo of the early Loveless knife. It was a fine experience for me to see a part of the evolution of the knives of Bob Loveless.

Great images, Coop!

Love the old Loveless.

Jon, Cliff made the image of the hand holding cards but not the ladder pattern steel on
the Martin folder. That knife was made for a famous street magician. I don't remember
all the details but it is cool steel.

Great shots Jim!!!
That Mayo with the blue handle is sharp!

Thanks for the nice comments fellas.:D
Mace

Pro photos don't cost...they PAY!!!:thumbup::D

Wow! That Ron Lake folder is something else allright!

Nice pics of some fine knives. Thanks for posting.

Kind regards,

Jos
