I live on Long Island also and they seem to be less strict in the enforcement of vague knife laws here, but that said I saw a teen arrested about two months ago solely for a "gravity" knife at the Broadway Mall. The fact that stores like T&&T Gunnery in Seaford have a large knife selection (including autos) seems to me that they are much more relaxed than the city ....
