Got that customary white package from Dave in my mail box today. Inside was my new 0200 blem. Let me begin by saying that weight and size have no bearing on how i feel about a knife. In fact if my 0100 folded, had a flipper, and a pocket clip i would edc it. Back to my new toy. This thing is a BEAST!!!!! I love everything about it. It has already given my 0561 the boot out of my pocket for work duty. The bag that it was wrapped in had a note indicating "spot BB." As you will notice in the attached pics there is a small round spot below the 154cm on the blade. Little does this matter to me since i will be stonewashing the blade tommorow at the shop. All I can say is DAVE IS THE MAN, TIME AND TIME AGAIN!!!!!! NEVER EVER DISAPPOINTED!!!

Why did it boot the 561? How/why do you prefer the 0200? I've been mulling between the 2 myself is why I ask.

For $95 you'd be hard pressed to find a knife I like better than the 0200! You wont regret it!

The 0200 is an epic folder. It's the brick craphouse of the ZT line. The ZT0561 seems svelte in comparison.

I love the 200 the most as well. I have the ZT 0550, 0560 and 350. I like the 200 more than any of them and it is cheaper than most. Go figure.

Weech3, you would just have to hold the 0200 to completely understand. The 0561 is a killer knife and a great tool to use for almost any task that you throw at it.....but the 0200 feels like an extention of your hand, not to mention being a brutish "fixed blade-like knife in a folders clothing." I've had it out of the box for less than 5 hours and i've already busted up some wood with it, and broken down a slab of raw beef ribs and a boston butt no freakin' problem. And its less than 100 dollars. There's no reason NOT to give it a go.

zero tolerance 0200 $95.

look on my neighbors faces when I open a box: PRICELESS;)

I have a 301 and a 561....give me two reasons to take a look at the 0200. They don't have to be good reasons :).....just tip the scales toward the 0200.
Thanks

I dont get that look so much in the rural south. I let a stranger use my 561 yesterday morning to pry the frozen fuel door open on his new cummins turbo. lol. He loved the knife, flipped it a few times, asked me where to buy one. I wrote down Dave's website on a scrap of paper, and went on my way. He didnt even seem shocked at the price.

It's ergonomic.
It Carry's like a 5 oz knife.
It's 154-CM.
It's awesome.
It costs $95 for a blem.
It will be at your door in three days from Dave.

There's six Get one!

Well - the 301 and the 200 have a lot in common. Similar ergo and blade style and size. 301 is bit wider in the grip and blade. The main difference is the assist and the liner vs frame lock. To me they are very similar but the 0200 wins on hand feel and ergos. But I do like my 301.

To me, the 560 is a very different knife than the 200. Lighter. Slimmer. Very different steel. Frame lock. I like the deep carry clip on the 560. Wish I could get one for the 200 and 301.

They all have something to offer. I keep my 200 by the bed. My 301 and 560 see carry time occasionally - neither is an edc. I edc a Chill (or a Chive) and a Cryo since I work in an office where carrying a big honking flipper would raise a few eyebrows. But for $95 I may get a 200 blem for out of office carry.

The scales are amazing.
The butt of it will bust beef rib bone cleanly with one blow.
It has flipper and thumb studs.
Great belly on the blade.
I havent used it to pry yet but i have faith it will reign supreme.

I just sent the money to Dave for ZT0200 blem. This will be my fourth ZT but I doubt it will dethrone the 0550 in my book. I love the love a knife that is thick in the hand and has weight to it so who knows it just may become my new favorite once it arrives!!! For this price you cant go wrong!

Let me know what you think of the two side-by-side. I'm curious about how the beasts compare...

Thanks for all the comments guys...you really make it tough for a guy to save any cash!
