New ZT drop on 11/4. Any leakes?

My experience with them is kinda weird, not enthused until I handle one. I like the 0545, it's subtle but impressive. Conversely, I love the 0308 and that guillotine action is really nice. I'm hoping for something with washers and a thumb stud perhaps, ala the 0640??

Local dealer who was with them (kai) at Bladeshow. I don't know many details, but it sounds like they were planning to release 1-2 more models and then retire the line in favor of higher end Kershaws. I don't have any official source or anything... just word of mouth.

I am a huge ZT fan and this makes me sad. Website says 2 are dropping.

Interesting. I hope it doesn't go that way.

There are a couple models I need to get my hands on before ZT as a whole hits discontinued collector status and prices sky-rocket.
 
Sounds like people need to start posting picks of their old ZTs. I’ll send some tonight or tomorrow.
 
With their prices going up to $300+ I don't see any current ZT lines can sustain for very long. It's sad but from a business perspective it makes more sense for KAI to just completely drop all ZTs and focus on kershaw and kitchen knives.
