New ZT folder: 630, 452cf, or other?

While I love both the 452CF and the 0630 I have to go with a big heavy recommendation for the ZT0630. I have carried this knife a ton this past year and beaten the snot out of it and it is just about perfect in every way. I truly did not like the looks of this knife when it first came out but it is stunning in person. Trust me on this you will love this knife!

Here is mine with a custom scale after doing some unexpected drywall work.

Hey all,

It's that time of year where I have some birthday & Christmas money to spend. Last year I took everyone's recommendations and bought a Ratmandu, which I totally love. This year I have decided to add a higher quality folder to my EDC rotation ($200 or less). The main 2 I have been looking at are the ZT 630 and the 452cf. Thought I would ramble a little and see if I could get any feedback to help make a decision.

- I normally like my folding knives in the 3.75" to 4" range, but the 630 blade looks fairly robust??
- I have a ZT 200 and love it, but it's a little too big for EDC on a regular basis for work. The 630 weighs less, but looks like it takes up substantially less pocket space?
- I have a Benchmade 710 and love it, carry it all the time. How similar is the 452?
- I have a Kershaw Emerson CQC-6K and love it (a little small), which is what gave me the bug for the 630.
- I'm also open to other suggestions that you may have. I've looked at the 560, but it just doesn't appeal to me as much for some reason. Not looking for tanto style blades at all (hence no 620 as an option).
- Was kind of eyeing a benchmade contego as another option, but not sure it would be a better buy compared to the ZT's.

I don't post alot here (lurk a lot), but I havent been led wrong so far. Thanks in advance for any input, I would appreciate it as I tend to over analyze everything before making a purchase (and due to having a limited knife purchasing budget). Thanks!

I've owned multiple 620s, 560s, 452s, and 562s.

0562 Slicer is probably the easiest to carry and most the useful EDC.

0620 is a classy light duty back up to a firearm. (I have no doubt this knife can hold up to use, just isn't an ideal blade shape for EDC and is too pretty to destroy IMO)

0560 is a work horse and one of my absolute favorite folders. I have done some deplorable things to my EDC 0560 (busted multiple windows, cutting thick copper wiring, thick plastic banding, sheet aluminum, and everything in between) and it has held up wonderfully. If you can, get one in black wash. You'll never even know it has been used.

0452 was real pretty, opened nicely, looked like a very capable slicer. I don't need just a slicer, and the blade shape is rather one dimensional if you ask me. I'd be nervous doing some of the things I've gotten away with my heavier duty EDCs.

I have not owned a 630, so I can't comment.

Those are my thoughts!
