Yea, up late, up early...like many of you, story of our lives. We can sleep later, don't want to miss anything.

Let's ship this damn knife already!

Now that is quote worthy :D
If you all knew how uncomfortable I make peeps in production over, well all any new knife...you'd smile.

Craig and I butt heads a bunch...you'd smile...

...best thing to happen to the factory in a while...Tim Galyean is back kicking ass...:) (this is me...smiling)

I heard that man, def don't wanna miss anything. I am the most impatient person I know, and as eager as I am for the 0560/ 0561 to be in my pocket, yal do a great job of always keeping my knife needs in check. First it was the 0551 now it's the Tilt and 0550 keeping me pleased at the current moment. Timing couldn't be any better, though I'm not sure if you all at Kershaw/ ZT planned it that way. :D

Posted this in the wrong thread the first time, due to dain bramage,I guess....

70% of my gear is Black and will remain so, until they make something darker.
Therefore: ZT/H 0551 (serial # 0104) or latest: ZT/H 0550 (serial # 0250)....or the upcoming: ZT/H 0560 FLIPPER...

15% of my Gear is Flat Dark Earth .
Therefore: the soon-to-arrive ZT/H 0561 FLIPPER in .... Flat Dark Earth

15% of my gear is ACU.
Therefore, I'll need either (A) another ZT/H FLIPPER with a set of the Hinderer scales in ACU or: (B) a spare set of the ACU scales, to swap out on one of the 4 ZT/H knives.
(In all reality,it's likely to be Plan B, for budgetary reasons.)

Speaking of budgetary matters no don't bring that up yes dammit I'm going to you shut TFU can't make me can't make me:

Here is what I recall telling kershawguy : As long as ZT & Rick Hinderer are collaborating on knives, as long as it's not a recurve, I want one!

Times are tough ,but to quote Clint Eastwood: 'A man's gotta know his limitations.'

And there will be one Helluva Yard Sale here in Resume Speed,KY. before I'll miss a ZT/H.

Holy crap - is that a 0301 and 0200 above the 0561? That thing is friggin huge! I didn't realize how big it was. This will easily be the largest folder I own when it comes in (I guess the specs don't make it look as big as a pic next to two of the larger folding knives I own).

It's not that much bigger than the 301. I think the pic is somewhat of an optical illusion.

I held it at blade, along with the 777. I don't remember either of them being anywhere near that big. Certainly not big enough to dwarf a 301.

I'm just glad that despite the size it's still under 6 ounces. That was the main thing that kept me from buying the ZT0300 or ZT0200. I can deal with a heftier blade, but the weight on those things is insane!

Hmm... I wouldn't mind a ZT/Tim Galyean collaborated knife :D

Thomas W,

Any chance you can get Rick Hinderer and Tim Galyean and Jimmer corralled up in the same room, cut off all outside distractions for a half day, feed 'em some steaks & some Elijah Craig, and give 'em one bigass sheet of drafting paper?

The 056X should pocket a whole lot smaller than the 300 series.

This is correct. The 0560 is very similar in overal length and thickness to an 0300 - maybe about a quarter inch longer.

However, it is significantly narrower and feels a lot lighter due to the weight relief pockets in the titanium lockbar and steel liner.

We should have some together shortly here. Tim has been working his butt off to get this project moving so fast.

By "some" I hope you mean several hundred to fill all of the preorders. :D

Should be a healthy first run.

That's great news, I just hope that my dealer up here will be getting some of that run to fill my preorder. I've gotta admit, as someone who wasn't too interested in this knife initially mainly because of the large size, now I really can't wait to get one of these.
