New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

Haha, finally! It has come through for chad and i!

Ill be cutting myself in a week or so with this lovely knife!
 
Last night I get the email that the 560 is in stock, and bammmm, it is just as I am walking out the door with my wife. The situation is as follows: we are late already as she is Spanish and takes her time doing anything, and I get the email, IN STOCK. So I spend the next 20 minutes trying to use my smart phone to create an account then deal with the checking out.

I get through the entire process, and just as I am checking out, the F-ing thing is OUT OF STOCK!!!!!! and I tried calling 4 times, no answers. WHHHHHYYYYYY!!!!!!

Bloooody timing!!!
 
Well I just found out from Dave where I am on the waiting list and I am thinking it's going to be quite a long time for me. I really want one now so I am contemplating overpaying on the secondary market. I know it sounds foolish but my only other option seems to help turn Thomas into an alcoholic and I don't want to be a party to that :D Maybe I can fly out there and wash your car, or mow your grass, or something else Thomas? :cool:
 
This will be my first post here (mostly reading-only type of guy), I come from the netherlands and I am a big fan of ZT knives. I have most ZT folders and since this week also the 0560 (with serial number 0141). Overall very happy with it, my first folder with Elmax steel. It feels very light compared to some of my other folders of equal size, very similar to the military.

The lockup is 100% without any play, opening is very very smooth (and I though the 0200 was a smooth opener but the 0560 is even smoother!), opening with the thumbstuds is no problem as long as your index finger is not on the lockbar! But I like the flipper most, I wish the 0550 also had the flipper, than this would be my perfect folder, because I like heavy folders!

I will post some pictures as soon as I have find out how to do it...
 
I have a 0550 in the mail. Hopefully that can hold me over till i can get a 0560. I prefer lighter knives and flippers so I'm still going to continue yearning. Maybe i can pick up a tilt, That would do the trick. And i don't mind paying over retail for one since they are not going to be produced anymore.
 
I became interested in the 560/561 far too late to jump on any pre order list. Two of my local cutlery stores have them on order though. Any idea if brick and mortar orders are being fulfilled at this time or just the online guys for now? Yea, I know it's an almost impossible question to answer...........
 
Not sure if anyone responded to this, so:

Curious.....Anyone know if the Hinderer XM pocket clip will fit on the 0560/0561???
 
Nevermind just got my confirmation email. Yay! finally getting one. Incase anyone was interested my order was from Bladehq and I was in the first 20 thats all they would tell me so I assume somewhere from 11-20 as they didnt say I was top ten. My order was for a 0560 just incase anyone wondering.
 
All of you guys are beginning to make me feel guilty. I was not even on any pre-order list and have had my 560 for almost a week.
