Now that would be amazing, but wicked hard to design given the torsion bar thats currently used on most is mounted by the pivot.

I am by NO means an expert in this but my little Kershaw Random Leek is a framelock with a torsion bar assisted feature - one end is in a hole in the round pivot area of the blade and the other end is in the non-lockbar side in a cavity. I think the ZT 0300 series is made like this too but I never opened mine up.
So I was thinking maybe it could be done? Or, maybe you're referring to a problem with the beaing system being in the way - which I have no clue about.
That would be the bomb to have all of this with a wicked hard slamming a/o like the ZT 0301 as an option.
