New ZT0550!!!

Mr. Clean,
The 'sprint run' is the ZT 0551,with Elmax blade.
The 'production knife' is the ZT 0550,with Vanax blade.
According to Thomas,it is possible the ZT 0551's may be ready by the end of next week.
The ZT 0550 is scheduled for 2011; unsure when.:confused:

If I have any part of this fouled up,someone please correct ;)

Kershawguy has a pre-order list,and the sprint-run ZT 0551's are spoken for.:eek:

He also has a 'standby list',in case anyone who emailed a pre-order decides to decline this knife. :grumpy: As Mr. T useta say: "Pity the Fool!" :jerkit:

Because I refuse to miss out on any ZT/Hinderer collaboration knife,I asked him to also put me on the pre-order list for the ZT 0550 for 2011.

After giving the matter some consideration,I emailed Kershawguy back,and specifically requested to be put on any future ZT/H pre-order lists automatically,please! as I firmly intend to own one of each ZT/H version until the fine folks @ ZT & Mr. Rick Hinderer shake hands and go their separate ways.

I know everyone is excited, but you can't be getting work done if you're constantly being interrupted by "instant alerts" and spending time online. Patience young grasshoppers! :p

Holy S - so the ZT0551 I preordered already with Kershaw guys is this one?

I read a long way back the 0550 vs 0551 was supposedly the black vs satin blade so I've had that in my head this whole time.

I try to curb my impulsive outbursts and my enthusiasm over this knife- but doing an (obvious) pisspoor job of it. :rolleyes:

Haven't been here on Blade very long...:o and can barely operate a computer! so I found out about this fine crew of knifevultures :eek: long after everybody else did...but have learned a LOT here,thanx! to fine members :cool: who have forgotten more about The Gospel of Sharp Pointy Things than I'll ever know....which is typical for a Kentuckian,I reckon.

As Samuel Clements once said,"When the World comes to an end,I want to be in Kentucky....They're 20 years behind everybody else!"

Getting on all the upcoming pre-order lists for Anything ZT/H! is my way of trying to make sure I don't miss out....and the three knives I've bought from Kershawguy in the past 6 months are 3 of my 4 favorites.
