As the title states. I'm looking for a classy, smaller folder to incorporate into my daily rotation. I like the look of the Mnandi but I can't find the basic models in stock anywhere. Would like a folding auto if anyone even makes a slim, classy auto folder. I currently carry either a BM northfork or an ultratech. I am used to the custom 1911 world so paying/waiting for a custom isn't out of the question, I just wouldn't know where to look. Suggestions and pics are welcome, thanks.

Have you visited the CRK sales sub-forum? An Elforin plain blade Mnandi. IMO over-priced. But they come up. I have a Damascus Mnandi, but one sold recently over $1K. I'd give you a good price for mine, but it would still be expensive. Arno Bernard makes a similar knife, I forget the model name, but reviews are good.

I have, but thank you for the suggestion. I saw the Elforin knife. I would agree with your assessment based on my limited knowledge and would prefer a wooden inlay. Shoot me a PM if youre serious about moving yours. I had been looking for a plain blade, mostly because I dont know about the Damascus on these knives. Is it true Damascus? Like in old fine double shotgun barrels? Or some laser etching to look cool?

It's legit real modern pattern welded steel, or what most in the industry these days call damascus.

The Arno Bernard you are thinking of is the Rinkhals.

Sorry I’m late to this, but you are looking for a Richard Rogers Pup. The Rogers Q & Slut are great options as well. Gareth Bull Shamwari’s are expensive but are the sexiest of gentlemanly folders.

Some more affordable options: Quiet Carry IQ/Drift/Waypoint, Tactile Turn Rockwall, & James Brand Duval. There are production models of the Rogers Slut & Mid-X. Both are excellent.

Gentleman's knives are the best!!!

It really depends on what your taste are. There are many quality gentleman's knives to be had at significantly cheaper prices. Autos are fewer and harder to come by, but do exist.

The Protech Runt is a great example.

I'm sorry to say that because of my hatred for autos I have no other options to suggest.

Thanks fornthe suggestion but I've searched here and the comparisons favor the mnandi, and I can't sind size specs in the iMamba?

I looked at the godson but it looks considerably larger?
You don't want the Imamba of you want the Mnandi. Totally different size categories. You want the Arno Bernard Rinkhals. That's the comparative AB to a mnandi. I have one and I like it, but it's a slipjoint. So I doubt you'll like it. If you're wanting an auto, a slippy is the exact opposite.

If you can find an appreciation for slippies, then I have a ton of suggestions. If you want an auto, then I'm dry. If you're open to standard flippers, there are many options I can go over.

Not set on an auto at all. Just that it's an option. Have a line on a tuxedo godson for a fair price. Picked up a small sebenza with box elder burl, too. Still shopping.

I have a bronze handle godson and it is sweet! Also check out the Protech SBR autos, there are some really neat ones. I have a Micarta one and a knurled one.

The AB shits all over the mnandi, in my experience. But its much larger. If you can stand a slipjoint, the rinkhals is a fine knife.
