No, they are just popular.
Create an account on the knife selling website of your choice, and (if it's an option) sign up for email alerts when the PM2 is available.
I'd advise against trying to land one on "the bay" since you're not very familiar with the knife's details and there are fakes and knockoffs out there.
I just bought one today at Howe's Knife Shop online. I think they're a forum sponsor, so have at it.
Actually eBay will not give a rats behind if you get burnt with a fake. Buying one from one of the many BF's dealers is you're best bet. Good luck,it's a great knife.I've been trying to educate myself on the differences between the clones and the real deal. I guess eBay's willingness to throw sellers to the wolves would come in handy here if I got a fake.
Are these knives typically ~$130 when in stock?
Also, what are the "Sprint" runs?
Thanks guys.
Thanks for that heads up. I just got on the list for the C81GPCMOBK2.
On eBay this guy is a good seller. [Removed Ebay Link]
If it's listed as a legit knife and you get a fake then yes, the bay will get your money back. Just have to watch the wording and make sure they don't say something like 'para military 2 style knife'.
Still though, I'd recommend our exchange or dealers first.
If you're looking for someone selling this knife, it will be easier for them to get in touch with you if you enable e-mailing in your account, I think.
I know that, in the past, I've gotten random emails from people who had knives I was looking for, when I made a thread asking a question about the knife in particular.
Does anyone know if the s35v Brown PM2 is a regular production knife?
Or how do we know when PM2 sprints are ran?
I would love an unusual PM2 but only if under the $150 range.
