NEWBIE GETS CUT!: What's your story?

Actually worst I ever saw (after the fact) was a couple of buddies of mine when we were teenagers many years ago. Kevin's dad was a retired Brigadier General. His older brother was a cop. Lots of tools of the trade around the house. Anyway Dave was over one day and found an old sap that brother cop had retired. The stitching in the leather had started to unravel so he gave it to Kevin who wrapped it with duct tape. When Dave saw the sap he picked it up and started waving it around saying "man, nobody would mess with you if you had this thing!" Kevin picks up an old Mauser bayonet with about a 12 inch blade and says "unless of course he had one of these". A few minutes of "mock" combat resulted in the bayonet going completely through the fleshy part of Dave's forearm with about three inches sticking out. I can't remember the stitch total but in was in the hundreds---both inside and out. Dave was very lucky and made a full recovery though he still hac\s a nasty scar.
