newbie grinder question

i purchased an inexpensive belt grider for sharpening, it works great.
i wanted to try to reprofile a blade to convex, and once again, it worked great.
no comes my problem. i would also like refinish blades, with either a satin or mirror finish. the problem comes in that the belt does not kit the middle of the blade, only the spine and edge, unless a lot is removed, almost to convex.
i probably need another tool, like a buffer wheel or something, and that is my question. what is the best way to refinsh blades? if there is a way to do it on my belt sander, or should i buy something else?
thanks!

you can do what i do and that is hand rub it to your desired finish. i have a belt grinder that can do the complete blade but i like the hand rub finish.
