Newbie in the forum and knifemaking

I am happy to see how talented you are right out of the gate, Those knives are all nice and better than my first knives for sure.

Making progress and I love the shape of the 2nd knife alot!!! Dont sweat the small mistakes, just learn from them and move on. Every single knife Ive made has a flaw somewhere or another but I learn from it and move on the the next goof up lol. Keep it up!

Looks to me like you're off to a good start. I'm new at this myself only up to about knife #22 or so. My first few were failures and the first successes left something to be desired. Your knives I like, simply, functional and down to earth. They look like tools meant to be used.

PLEASE do!!! I LOVE looking at the incredible works of art that some of the makers put out here but I find myself just as attracted and interested in the "amateur/new" maker's works. Look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

I'm depressed. I mean your FIRST blows my first two attempts clean out of the water. No competition at all.

Hang my head in shame and might as well toss out my tools.

I mean, that's TOTALLY AWESOME DUDE! A home run if ever I saw one (as we say over here). Looking forward to your next one, the one after and ......😁

Thanks a lot man..there is no shame and especially no tossing of any tools...:)as long as anything you make comes out of your hand thats enough...taking a rectangular piece of metal and transforming it into a knife and being there in all stages thats more that satisfying for me..nobody starts with great knifes...nobody starts running before learning how to crawl and walk...thats how i feel..i am at the crawling stage right now as my 6 month son :)

CY,

Just awed by your first. Really.

Ain't giving up the few tools I have, just joshing ya. I used basic tools and scrap I had laying around; one being edger blade. But I'm also impatient. May post my first two attempts one day, don't want to jack your thread.

Keep'm comin'.
