I am planning on adding another to my little collection in November for my b day!
While it is generally agreed that one may only have a single birthday per year, it is a lesser known "fact" that one may celebrate unlimited knife buy birthdays per year. Regardless of what the wife says, this is just a fact of life.

I recently picked up a Hogue X5 Flipper and I gotta say, I'm impressed! The fit and finish are excellent, and the flipping action is superb. When you push the button lock, all you need to do is flick down, and the blade drops shut away from your fingers. I had some big expenses come up over the past couple weeks, but I'm gonna grab one of those RSK2's when I can as well.

Hogue's RSK2 is one of the best folding knives in terms of value that you can get. The Spyderco PM2 is also up there.

Hogue RSK2 and PM2 are stupid obvious choices. I dare say they’d make most “top 5” lists here in BF

Tried & true designs with a reputable company behind them

Go for the PM2. It’s popular for a reason. It makes a great edc knife, and once you have it for a while the ugliness turns into beauty after you use it and see what a great tool it actually is. They may be the best honestly.

I was going to suggest Hogue's new sprint run (a lower number production run) of their Ritter RSK MK1-G2. It's a well loved design around these parts and this is a special edition one in carbon fiber and the latest knife steel Magnacut. The website says it's sold out right now but I heard on a podcast today, that ust aired the other day, that they are still making a second batch. I'd put your name on the "wishlist" button and they'll notify you when their ready to take money for it. If you're interested that is. It's an incredible knife though and perfect since you want a Hogue.

This is a freaking fantastic suggestion. I would be torn between a PM2 and the MK1. If I could only have one it would be the Hogue.
Thanks for all your replies. I ordered last night the Batista and the PM2. I went with the Batista because of the sale price and the blue anodized grip. I ordered from BHQ. I will post my impressions after Ive played with them a bit. I am planning on adding another to my little collection in November for my b day!
THATS THE BEST CHOICE!! Lol great job man! It is like everyone says pretty damn hard to stop or let off the gas once you get a couple. Welcome to the forums! I'd highly recommend the Hogue MK1 if you like the size of the PM2. Also, thank you very much for your service as an LEO.

That setup is awesome. Love the knife, the switch, and the Wilson edc9. Very nice.
Thank you. It's actually a very modded Sig P365 SAS, Wilson Combat grip module (XL) with tungsten rods. It slso has a tungsten guide rod, lima 365 green laser, and flat rigger. I also modified the 12 rd mag to hold 14. Oh and added the standard slide release.

Ahh very cool. The ulti clip is a nice touch too. I was a car sales manager and tucked my springfield modded hellcat rdp every day for years. I carry a Staccato C2 prodominantly now and absolutely love it. I have considered dropping a flat trigger in it (all my striker fired handguns have upgraded triggers/springs) but it's just so perfect the way it is.
