Hi all.

I'm looking to purchase my first Japanese knife. I was looking for something with olive wood, that doesn't happen.

I'd like a nice looking quality hammered knife, something that stands out as handmade. Budget is 300$.

Any recommendations? There just seems to be a ton of stuff out there.

Thanks so much.

You probably won't find olive wood outside of a custom made knife. But if you're open to options, check into Henkel's Miyabi knives. They have a birchwood collection that fits your budget. They are beautiful knives. I have a set of the artisan Miyabi's I use as my show/demonstration knives. Awesome steel and they are made in Japan. Backed by Henkel's warranty you can't go wrong.
