Hey folks, Anyone in the St. Paul, MN area that would like to help out a newbie in getting started right. MilliePop (Jimmy Yang) is in need of someone to offer him some hands on training. I am sending him some steel, and he is going to read up on knifemaking, but there is nothing like seeing it with your own eyes. He has filled out his profile more completely now, too. If you are within a couple hours of the Twin Cities, and are willing to help, give me or MiliePop an email.

If things don't work out, you folks might try umbaonline.org. It's a blacksmithing association that seems to affiliate with some bladesmithing hammer-ins in the general area. They may be able to help.

Good luck, Craig

Bladsmth,

I appreciate the effort. Believe me...you've done more than enough already. But with little children and work, I don't know if I can genuinely hook up with a bladesmith and take up an apprenticeship(I don't know what else to call it) as of this moment. Maybe we'll try again in the Spring when they all come out.

Thanks your bud,
Jimmy
