Hi, Im mark and Im new here. I did my best to search the forums but perhaps im not totally sure what I'm looking for. I purchased some 444 steel and made a few small fixed blades knives. Now I would like to get them heat treated. I dont have the resources or space currently to make my own furnace. Does anyone on here do it for other members? I can pay by paypal. Also is it totally necessary to heat treat 440c?

Thanks!

Peters heat treat is popular one. Yes you have to heat treat 440c, it has to be hardened and tempered down or it won't hold an edge.

Yes, 440c needs to be heat treated, as do all blade steels.
Peters Heat Treat is great, so is Texas Knifemakers, Truegrit, and Darrin Sanders here on Bladeforums.
