I have been a tool and die maker for 10 years. I am new to knife making. I was wondering if anyone has used the steels that go by the commericial name Vanadus 10\4\23. They are available from Bohler Uddeholm. I have used these with great success for metal cutting applications and I was wondering if anyone here has used them?

Sorry, I have no experience with that steel, but Welcome to the forums!
Hopefully this'll bump the thread back to the top and someone who does have knowledge of that steel will chime in.

It appears to be a particle metal steel similar to CPM10V. It should make superb knives.Uddeholm has all the HT info on their site.
