Just ordered a HG55 under the wire. My first order. How long does delivery usually take after an order is placed?

Do many of you use lanyards or are they just more of a cool looking nuisance? BTW, I can see this is going to be an expensive hobby.

I am no expert on the subject but I ordered the Tank Buster on friday and they said anywhere from 4 - 14 weeks. As for lanyards, it's a personal preference. I like to have one on my knives so if it slips chopping I dont throw it across the camp site and it feels like you have more controll. If your refering to the D gaurds I don't know as I have never had a knife with one on it. ( yet..... Tank Busters gettin one ) Yes this hobby can get pricey but at least your getting your moneys worth. $500, $800 doesn't seem that much when you think that it's something your grand kids are going to be chopping through the woods with. clink, clink, drink.
