Welcome waliguy to the world of collecting Schrades.
Options other than ebay: Well, you live in a state filled with knife using sportsmen and I can promise you there are treasures hidded all over the place. Right now they are in basements, fishing shacks, cottages, hunting camps, ect. Find them! Flea Markets, Gun & Knife shows, auctions, estate sales, classified ads, pawn shops.. all places I've found good, low-priced knives, although you'll have to weed a bunch of them out. But that is part of collecting; Handling/examining a lot of knives, every chance you get. I've even taken the more agressive step of placing classified ads myself, offering to buy knives, Schrades included, of course. If you have a local knife shop, develop a relationship with the owner, getting to the point where he will hold all old Schrades for you, giving you the right of first refusal. Also, find a local knife club. All clubs have 'trade days' and when the members see what you are looking for, they will remember to bring some in for you to look at.
If you have any questions about a particular knife, ask us! When you do find a treasure at a bargain price, show us!
