There are a few maker marks that are Solingen, heres a few, I cant quite remember what was on that one, but it does ring a bell, and I am not too sure if that is on this link...check it out, copy and paste it...its good for future reference .......do any of these match?

A.L...yeah the peasant knife is an older one..I rehandled it with a brow tine off an 8 point sika stag...great little knives
