Newest acquisition: KnifeCenter exclusive Benchmade Bugout!

Got this sweet little blade in the mail yesterday. Been on the fence about this particular model for a while now, but when I saw KnifeCenter was dropping an exclusive model with a black and red “battlewash” finish on the scales, I couldn’t turn it down. I definitely see now what the fuss is all about. Even though it weighs less than 2oz, it feels very strong and well built in the hand. The centering isn’t perfect, slightly favoring the “show” side, but it’s not bad enough that I can’t live with it. Very happy with this variation of the Bugout, and I look forward to seeing more flavors of this knife from Benchmade in the future.

Someone waddle over to Benchmade for me please, kick someone in the nuts and tell them to make with a -1 bugout model in stonewashed s90v already. I really like the model, this new variant included, but would really like an upgrade from s30v.

No kidding! I’m hoping we’ll see it soon. 20cv would be cool too.
 
Thanks! The black is supposed to wear over time revealing more of the red underneath, so it tends to leave some black residue on the fingers after fidgeting with it a while.

Soooo does that mean the black finish would come off in your pockets? That's seems not so good to me.
 
everytime i see bench made makes me sick i just threw mine in the river long ago . they went anti gun , but they still make good knives

Maybe, but I don’t think it will be noticeable enough to bother me.

Thank you. Yeah I’m not too happy with their left field antics myself, but I try to justify it by saying if I boycotted every company that I disagreed with politically, I’d be living naked in a cardboard box lol
